I bought this in-line fan to pump warm air into a chase containing hot and cold water pipes. When outdoor temperatures drop below 15 degrees Fahrenheit, the air in the chase falls below freezing, so I was worried that the pipes would freeze. This little fan together with flex duct (I stripped away the outer insulation) solved the problem. we only use this system for all of our shower installation. no guessing, no leaks this is a complete system. no brainier for us if any one whats a custom shower we install Kerdi shower kit. as a extra leak protection we use RedGurad on durorock and than install kedri kit.
