I elected to install the unit myself. I have decent construction skills and did a lot of reading before hand. The unit came complete and had good directions. I had power to my pool pump near where I planned to install the condenser and did have to go one size larger on the wire to support both units but that was not a problem. The wall unit was easy to install and I used a hammer drill to cut out the 3" hole through my masonry wall. Trim kit worked nicely sealing the hole. I did... more

After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. I installed a WarmWire heated floor in a 6'x8' coat room that had no other source of heat. It is on a concrete slab with 2 outside walls and a wall to an unheated attached garage. I glued 2 6mm thick sheets of Cerazorb synthetic cork directly on the concrete. It was super easy to lay the wire on top on the cork using the metal clip system provided. I actually bought 5 Pensotti Wall Panel Radiators, 3 of the 20" x 24" and two of these 20" X 48" units. They are replacing hot water baseboard heaters in a basement apartment. These heaters are stylish, extremely efficient and are priced very nicely. Installation was a snap using the included hardware, HOWEVER, I highly recommend purchasing an extra set of brackets for the 20" x 48" heater due to its weight.
